‘Levitation Lessons: Monsters, Buildings, & Other Abstractions’ will open October 30 at the Rockford University Art Gallery featuring the work of artist Derrick Buisch.

Students interested in attending Rockford University are invited to attend the University’s Visit Day on Wednesday, November 11 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The United Way of Rock River Valley confirmed their partnership with the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE) at Rockford University through a three-year commitment of $51,000.

NICNE at Rockford University has been awarded a grant totaling $60,000 from the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. The grant funds, referred to as “Collaboration Takes NICNE To The Next Level” will be dispersed over a three year period and are dedicated to expanding partnerships and collaborations.

Rockford University announced today the launch of Rock Solid & Ready, a 17.3. million dollar campaign to further enhance the campus environment and the student experience.

Andrew is a senior special education major from Rockford, Illinois. He was nominated by Professor Lynn Stafford.

The dance festival was conceived last year to honor the late Jayne Poor, professor at the university and an influential member of the Rockford dance community.
