Rockford University was recognized by the American Advertising Federation of Northern Illinois with eight 2016 American Advertising (ADDY) Awards for advertising creative excellence.

The Rockford University Board of Trustees announced today that Eric Fulcomer, Ph.D., has been appointed as the 18th President of Rockford University, and to succeed Robert L. Head, Ph.D., who is retiring June 30, 2016.

Rockford University received information late on February 16, regarding a fatal traffic accident involving three current RU students and one former RU student.

Samantha is a senior theater major with a concentration in design/tech from Flower Mound, Texas. She has a special interest in stage management and scenic design for theater. She was nominated by Mariah Harris, Residence Hall Director.

Noted author Robert Lupton is returning to Rockford on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, to share next steps toward best practices in asset-based community development as expressed in his new book, Charity Detox.

John Finley, from Rockford, Illinois is a junior political science major and was nominated by Rebecca Wallgren, Box Office Manager for Maddox Theatre.

Sintheyah is a freshman criminal justice major from Rockford, Illinois. She was nominated by Dr. Mehmet Dik, ‌Professor and Chair Department of Mathematics, Computer Science & Physics.

Vanessa is a biology major from Dubuque, Iowa. She was nominated by Jennifer Nordstrom, Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Admission. Jennifer shared that Vanessa is a fantastic representative of RU.
