2026 Summer Housing at Rockford University

2026 Rockford University Summer Housing Contract

  • The Rockford University 2026 Summer Housing Contract  is now available for current Rockford University students and interns.
  • Applications are due by April 14, 2026 at Noon.
  • Summer Housing is not guaranteed as there is limited housing available due to anticipated groups and projects in the residence halls.

2026-2027 Housing Rate 

The 2026-2027 Housing Rate is  $6,670.00 ($3,335.00 per semester).

Current Residence Hall Students

The 2026-2027 Residence Hall and Meal Plan Contracts will be emailed on February 25, 2026 to your Rockford University email address.   Please review the 2026-2027 Room Selection Guide regarding the room selection process.

Room Selection Guide 2026-2027

The Room Selection Guide provides information on the Priority Housing Process, Room Selection Dates, and 2026-2027 Housing Options.  Please review the selection guide closely.

The Priority Housing Deadline to participate in housing selection is Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 5:00 pm.

To participate in the priority housing selection process, current residence hall students must have completed the following by April 21, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
1.  Electronically completed and submitted the 2026-2027 Housing & Meal Plan Contract with the included Emergency Information Form & Missing Student Form
2.  Have all holds removed from your Rockford University Account.
3.  Be registered as full-time status for 2026-2027.

If you have any questions about the Room Sign-Up process after reviewing the Room Selection Guide, please speak with either a Hall Director or the Assistant Dean of Students/Director of Residence Life.

New Incoming Rockford University Students & Current Rockford University Commuter Students

New Students:  The Home Away from Home Newsletter/Flyer from the Admissions Office contains the link for the  2026-2027 Housing & Meal Plan Contract for new to RU Students and current commuter students.  It can be completed  anytime once you have received the Newsletter.  It is also linked here:

Housing assignments will be processed for new incoming students and current commuter students desiring to live on-campus, after May 1, 2026.

Applications will be processed based on the date of contract received and class registration as a full-time student has been completed for Fall 2026.
