How to Receive Post–9/11 and Yellow Ribbon Program Benefits at Rockford University

  1. Apply for your benefits through the Veterans Administration (VA). Information can be found on the VA Web site at or by calling the VA at 1-888-GI-BILL-1.
  2. Submit your certificate of eligibility to Rockford University’s certifying official.

Acceptance into the Yellow Ribbon Program will be on a first-come, first-served basis. First-come is defined as a student who has completed all admission requirements, as well as submitted all documents regarding eligibility for the Post–9/11 and Yellow Ribbon Programs.
