Senior Human Resources Generalist

We’re seeking a Senior HR Generalist who is ready to take the next step in their career. This position provides comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management.

This role partners closely with the campus community to ensure accurate, consistent, and employee-focused HR practices, while contributing to day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance, and workplace concerns
  • Lead recruitment efforts and support hiring strategies, including faculty searches
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and university policies
  • Support benefits, leave administration, and HR operations
  • Assist with training initiatives and employee development programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, and 3–5 years of HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience handling sensitive employee matters with sound judgment
  • A collaborative, service-oriented approach
  • High level of confidentiality and trust, as you will regularly handle sensitive employee information and serve as a discreet, reliable advisor to both leadership and staff.
