Professor Bill Gahan presenting final ‘Shakespeare’s Sonnets’ lecture April 12

Gahan_WilliamRockford, Ill. – Associate Professor of English, William Gahan, Ph.D., will be presenting the third and final lecture in a lunch and learn series focused on Shakespeare’s Sonnets. The lecture will be held at noon Tuesday, April 12 at Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center, 406 N. Main St., Rockford. The first two lectures in the series covered a variety of aspects surrounding the sonnets, concentrating on production and reception and art vs. time. The topic of the third lecture is love and sex.
