Final preparations are underway for Performing Arts students and faculty to make their journey to Edinburgh, Scotland to perform in this year’s international Festival Fringe.

Matthew D. Phillips ’04/’06 has been named as Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management for the 2016-17 year, filling the position previously held by Dr. Eric Fulcomer, who took over as President of Rockford University on July 1, 2016.

Rockford University Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) Michael Perry, Ph.D., has been selected as a 2016 NCAA Division III FAR Fellow.

Robert L. Head, Ph.D., will serve his last day as the University’s 17th president today, June 30, 2016.

July 1, 2016 marks the first day of Dr. Fulcomer’s presidency at the University. He previously served as the Vice President for Enrollment Management.

Ronnie Robertson joined Rockford University May 31 as the Director of the Burpee Student Center and Student Activities.

The Office of Admission is hosting a Campus Takeover Visit Day on Friday, June 3. This new visit day is geared toward students in high school and those just finishing their senior year.

Two Rockford University faculty members have been honored with the 2016 Excellence in Teaching Award. The award is presented annually to a full-time professor and adjunct professor.

Sarah Combs from Roscoe Illinois is the final Rock Solid Regent for the spring 2016 semester. Sarah is a senior early childhood education major and was nominated by Elisa Bott, Assistant Professor of Education.
