Stephanie is a sophomore musical theater major with a minor in dance from Redlands, California. She was nominated my Cassie Hartje from the Admissions Department.

Robert (Keith) Latham from Sandwich, Illinois is our ROCK SOLID REGENT for the week. Keith is a senior human development major and was nominated by Lindsay Marosi-Kramer, Residence Hall Director.

Professor Brian Huels has been selected as one of the community’s 40 Leaders Under 40.

Professors Matthew Bork and Troy Skwor, along with alumnae Stephanie Klemm, Brianna Schardt, and Stephanie Blaszczyk have alternative treatment research published in peer-reviewed scientific journal.

Hit musicals “Forever Plaid” and “Nunsense” open this week at RU and directed by special guest alumni director Kyle Donahue’03 and Professor Timm Adams.

The Lincoln Academy of Illinois will honor the top college and university students in the state during a ceremony on Saturday, November 12 in Springfield. Ivy Hood, from Roscoe, Ill., will receive this year’s honor for Rockford University.

The Rockford Public Library is hosting a book discussion with authors Drs. Mary Weaks-Baxter, Catherine Forslund and Christine Bruun on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Marian is a freshman mathematics major. She was nominated by Dr. Deepshikha Shukla, Assistant Professor of Physics. She is from Madrid, Spain and will be studying at RU for one year.

The next Future Regent Visit Day will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 11:30 – 3:30 on the Rockford University campus, 5050 East State Street, Rockford.
