Firefighter Battle 2014 comes to RU

Rockford University is pleased to be a sponsor of the upcoming Firefighter 2014 Battle on Saturday, September 13 to benefit the American Red Cross.
The annual event will take place at parking lot A on the University campus, 5050 East State Street, Rockford, and begins at 9 a.m. with the first course starting at 10 a.m.
This is a free family event to support the American Red Cross. The battle tests the skills and stamina of local firefighters as they battle through a competitive course of obstacles.
Other event sponsors include the Rockford Park District, OSF Healthcare, SwedishAmerican Health System and WTVO/FOX Eyewitness News.
