RU/RVC Career Exploration & Job Fair – Spring 2021

Rockford University and Rock Valley College present a Virtual Career Exploration & Job Fair! Join us on Wednesday, February 24 from 1-3pm to explore career opportunities and chat LIVE with employers. Learn more about the event and participating employers by visiting www.rockford.edu/careerfair.

There are two parts to this virtual event:

1-on-1 Employer Appointments (1-2pm) – RU&RVC Students/Alumni Only

• Pre-register for a 10-minute appointment with employers of your choosing
• Pre-submit a resume for employers to review (optional!)
• Scheduling an appointment is strongly encouraged for job-seekers, internship-seekers, and students/alumni looking to make a strong professional impression with attending employers
• Appointment slots are limited; register early to secure your spot

Career Exploration Hour (2-3pm) – RU&RVC Students/Alumni, Community Job-Seekers

• Meet employers LIVE over Zoom – a great networking opportunity!
• Freely explore part-time, full-time, and internship opportunities
• Learn more about industries you’re interested in 
• For all majors and career paths – it’s easy, interactive, and rewarding

Attendees are strongly encouraged to have a resume ready to send and dress in professional attire if they plan to chat (live) with an employer. Resume assistance is available by contacting RU Career Services at careers@rockford.edu. 

PRE-REGISTER TODAY!
The Career and Internship Fair is open to all Rockford University and Rock Valley students and alumni, as well as job-seekers in the greater Rockford area. Pre-registration is required for scheduling a 1-on-1 Employer Appointment and for Career Exploration attendees.
