THE END: Apocalyptic Thought in Culture. 4th Annual Humanities Conference

Students and scholars will present research papers investigating aspects of the apocalyptic and/or apocalyptic rhetoric within their respective fields.

– A Conversation with the Cuban Poet Lleny Díaz Valdivia
Presentation of her book of poems Líquida published in the Spanish Edition Series by the Rockford University Department of Languages, Philosophy, Religion, and Cultures.

– APOCALYPSE ON STAGE: A Cuban Medea in Translation: Dramatic Reading and Conversation with the Public
An adaptation of Medea titled Medea Unfinished by Iran Capote (Cuban poet and playwright) translated into English by Rockford University student Angela Perez Dominguez.
