Fall 2013 Orientation Registration for Transfer Students
Transfer Student Orientation
(30 or more credits hours)

Rockford University is excited to welcome you to our campus community. We believe orientation programs are the foundation for your success both in and out of the classroom and recognize your unique needs as a transfer student. Transfer Orientation is designed to help you:

  • Transition to Rockford University
  • Complete Technology Survival Skills
  • Connect with other new students
  • Understand academic expectations
  • Have Fun!

Orientation: Wednesday, August 14th

  • Check-in
    4:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
    ; Location: Clark Arts Lobby

  • Pre-Orientation Events:
    4:30 – 5:45 p.m.; Location: Starr Science
          Introduction to Library Services
          Technology Survival Skills
          Hands-On in the Computer Lab

  • A light meal will be served
    5:30 – 6:25 p.m. Location: Clark Arts Lobby

  • Transfer Student Orientation
    6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Location: Maddox Theatre

Transfer Students are invited to attend any and all Orientation Programs from August 17th through August 20th.

Saturday, August 17th - Mark Your Calendar! Bring your family/guests to the Orientation Activities

  • Lunch, from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to show your family/guests around campus
  • Opening Ceremony begins at 1:00 pm 
  • Parent/Family/Guest and Student Sessions begin at 3:00 pm
  • With the Farewell Reception at 4:30 pm

Classes will begin on Wednesday, August 21st.
