Transfer Student Orientation
(30 or more credits hours)
Rockford College is excited to welcome you to our campus community. We believe orientation programs are the foundation for your success both in and out of the classroom and recognize your unique needs as a transfer student. Transfer Orientation is designed to help you:
- Transition to Rockford College
- Complete Technology Survival Skills
- Connect with other new students
- Understand academic expectations
- Have Fun!
Orientation: Wednesday, August 15th
- Check-in
4:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. Clark Arts (North entrance)
- Technology Survival Skills
4:30 – 5:45 p.m. (Alternate date: Tuesday, August 21, 2012 / 4:00 – 6:15 p.m)
- A light meal will be served
5:00 – 6:25 p.m. Clark Arts
- Transfer Student Orientation
6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Maddox Theatre
Transfer Students are invited to attend any and all Orientation Programs
from August 18th through August 21st.
Saturday, August 18th - Mark Your Calendar! Bring your family/guests to the Orientation Activities
- Lunch, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to show your family/guests around campus
- Information Sessions from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
- Opening Ceremony from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Classes will begin on Wednesday,
August 22nd.
