Facilities Work Order

Some individuals on campus have access to Sodexo’s Work Order System. Those that do can create a work order for maintenance, grounds, or custodial service that is not urgent. Work orders can take from a couple of days to a few weeks to complete. Anyone creating a work order using this system will receive email updates regarding their request.
For those of you that do not have access to this system, an email sent to Facilities@rockford.edu with a description of what work needs to be done will suffice. Someone will then reach out to you regarding your request.

In July of 2022 Rockford University joined with National Management Resources to provide Maintenance, Grounds, and Custodial Services for our campus. Guided by our shared values, each member of Team National is empowered to provide students, faculty, and staff with a safe, clean, efficient, and comfortable learning, living, recreational, and work environment.
Bill Milanos is our Director of Facilities and Carol Ingram is our Work Control Coordinator. You can reach out to Bill at 815-394-5058 (ext. 5058), or to Carol at main Facilities phone number at 815-226-4061 (ext. 4061). You may also email Carol at facilities@rockford.edu
Facilities hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM, although some Facilities personnel are on campus as early as 7 a.m. and as late as 5:30 p.m. There is also limited staff here on weekends.

Resident Students
Resident Students should always contact their Resident Assistant, or Resident Hall Director if they are in need of maintenance assistance. That RA or RHD will in turn contact Facilities and have a maintenance team member look into the problem.
Faculty, Staff & Commuter Students
Faculty, Staff, and Commuter Students can contact Facilities in a variety of ways. For urgent issues needing immediate attention, please call 815-394-5058 for Jarred, or 815-226-4061 for Facilities.
For issues that are not urgent, please send an email to facilities@rockford.edu or leave a message on one of the extensions listed above.
