Dr. McCullough joined the faculty during the summer of 2016. He teaches courses related to student outcomes assessment, research methods, the profession of teaching, data analytics, the history of education, educational psychology, and instructional technology. Dr. McCullough graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marshall University with a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education, and West Virginia University with a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership. His scholarly pursuits are focused on student outcomes assessment in PK-12 settings and in higher education, the use of technology to enhance the student learning experience, and flexible learning spaces. Dr. McCullough has authored research manuscripts that appear in multiple peer-reviewed journals and presented at international and national conferences.
Dr. McCullough enjoys snow skiing and professional and college sports. His favorite teams include the Arizona State University Sun Devils, the Marshall Thundering Herd, the West Virginia Mountaineers, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, and the Arizona Cardinals and Diamondbacks. Dr. McCullough enjoys working with his students and engaging in learning collaboratively in the classroom.
