‘Read Aloud of Black American Voices’

In recognition of Black History Month, the Rockford University English Department is hosting the 8th Annual “Read Aloud of Black American Voices.” Prof. Michael Perry will be leading discussions focused on James Baldwin’s The Fire Next Time.

The first hour-long discussions will be held Thursday, Feb. 9, at noon and 3 p.m. in Fischer Chapel, with others scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 23, at 3 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 24, at noon. Learn more about the event.
