By welcoming our incoming students and their families into this longstanding University tradition, they’ll have the opportunity to experience the academic procession, the robing of our faculty and trustees, the ringing of the bell, and the official beginning of their academic journey at Rockford University. We believe this creates a meaningful way to begin their college experience and establishes a tradition that comes full circle as they conclude their time at Rockford University with Commencement and the ringing of the bell once again.
