The First Responder and Military Appreciation game will be held at Sam Greeley Field on November 16, 2019. The game starts at noon, but the event will begin at 10:00 am. The event line-up includes:

• Chicago Police Department Pipe and Drum Team
• Chicago Police Department Honor Guard
• National Guard is providing the RU football team with camouflage jerseys for the game
• National Guard is providing a field size American flag for teams to spread across the field during the national anthem.
• Emergency vehicle displays from the Rockford Fire and Police Departments.
• Halftime, on-field RPD K9 demonstration
• OSF medical transport helicopter will land during the event
• Illinois Law Enforcement Emergency Alert System (ILEAS) Mobile Command Vehicle Display
