Regular Hours
Walk-in hours:  10am - 4pm Monday through Friday

Summer Hours
Walk-in hours:  10am - 2pm Tuesday through Thursday
Confidentiality Statement
Lang Health, Wellness, Counseling and Disability Services respects and preserves the privacy and confidentiality of all patient and client communications. All visits are confidential. Information cannot be released without your written consent. Information, whether written, spoken, recorded electronically or printed will receive the same level of protection.

As nurses and counselors, we are health professionals that are required, by law to report any suspected child abuse or neglect. In addition to the required mandated report status, the issue of confidentiality may be waived in situations where danger to self or others is imminent.

 

Meet Our Staff

Cecelia Bristol, RN, BSN, MAT- Director of Health Services
Cecelia received her BSN from St. Anthony College of Nursing and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Rockford University. In addition to her 20 years experience in occupational health, obstetrics, gynecology and pediatric nursing, Cecelia is an adjunct professor in Nutrition for Rockford University. Cecelia's experience in the medical field is an enormous asset to Lang, and she provides a caring, compassionate and understanding environment to each patient.
 

Sally Ann Roberts, LCSW- Director of Counseling Services
Sally Ann Roberts received her MSW from Washington University in St. Louis and is experienced in hypnotherapy, energy work, psycho-synthesis, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies. It is Sally's belief that each person who comes into her office for a session is, in essence, seeking to learn how to live the life they've been given with openness and authenticity, despite the difficulties he or she is encountering. In fact, obstacles to what is expected (if viewed in the correct light) can often be the most valuable lesson one can receive in learning how to be true to oneself.

Patty Schneider, RN, BSN- Nurse
Patty received her BSN from NIU in 1989, and worked for 15 years on the Adult Medical/Oncology Unit at Swedish American Hospital. Patty enjoys assisting, educating and empowering students to make healthy choices. She believes that these choices directly impact their future health and vitality.

Jamil Hussain, MD
Dr. Hussain is an experienced and well-established Family Practice Physician in the Rockford Community.  His special interest in family practice, in addition to his high level of professionalism and care, greatly benefits Rockford University as our consulting physician.

Laura Godin Office Manager/Administrative Assistant
Laura received her bachelor of science in Accounting from Rockford University.  Previously, she worked in Student Administrative Services.  She is excited to return to Rockford University and work to meet students’ health needs.
 
Brenda Branham
Brenda Received her bachelor of science in Psychology from Rockford University and is currently working toward her MAT.  She enjoys taking her dog for walks, tutoring students, and working with Disability Support Services.
