An important component of the RUFBC is the opportunity for owners of family businesses to "network" with each other. Sharing ideas, solving problems, and creating opportunities with one another is of great value to family businesses.  Business roundtable discussions, focused on the unique aspects of the family owned business is an important aspect of the program.  Frequent events such as the Coffee, Donuts and Dialogue sessions provide you with a platform to learn about and grow your business.  

Benefits of membership:

  • Networking at the biweekly ‘Dialog’ sessions
  • Admission to ‘events’ held on campus
  • Workshops and Courses held on campus
  • Audit or Reduced registration fees to academic courses offered through the EBA Department of the Social Sciences Division

Annual RUFBC fee: The annual membership fee for the RUFBC is $1,000. (discounts may apply)


The RUFBC seeks sponsors who believe that family-owned businesses are the heart and soul of a community and provide the best opportunity for long-run economic growth in a community. Sponsors will have the unique opportunity to help develop and strengthen family businesses in the Rock River Valley. Participation on the RUFBC Advisory Board and recognition at all RUFBC events and in all RUFBC publications are also sponsor benefits.
