About/Bio
Bethany Twitty joined the Sociology & Criminal Justice Department in Fall 2021 after finishing her Ph.D. at Old Dominion University. She teaches courses on the various aspects of the criminal justice system, as well as characteristics of criminal behavior. Bethany's research interests include media and crime, gender-based violence, inequality, and violent crime.
