Dr. Davies joined Rockford University in 2023. Previously, she served as the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Chicago State University and as the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Francis, where she began her academic career as a faculty member in the psychology department. Dr. Davies obtained her M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology, Human Development and Mental Health Research from the University of Chicago. She received her B.A. with High Honors in Sociology and Anthropology from Swarthmore College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
