Hobbies/interests: “I was a musician before becoming a nurse – I play the piano, organ, and flute in addition to singing. Occasionally, I play the organ and piano at weddings. And, I’ve been playing piano at a friend’s restaurant periodically this past month. I attend Heartland Community Church weekly, and really like it there. I’ve been on a mission trip to Haiti, and hope to some day return there or go on a medical mission trip (probably to Africa). I love dogs – the three that I have (toy poodle, chow, and cocker spaniel) keep me active as I have to go out and walk them every day. I LOVE to travel – especially to warmer climates (like Mexico) in the middle of winter! My dream is to one day go to Italy (this is #1 on my “bucket list”).
