SUMMARY:Rock Solid Healthy Lifestyle Presents Color Out Fridays!
DESCRIPTION:Color Out Fridays are presented by Rock Solid Healthy Lifestyle and sponsored by Lang Health Center and Student Life. Every Friday the Rock Solid Healthy Lifestyle table will be set up in the Den from 10am-2pm to distribute student-centered health information\, provide fun activities and events\, and raffle off prizes. Each week is centered around a different topic\, such as sexual health\, alcohol awareness\, or campus safety. Every Friday is Color Out Friday. This means that each Friday students who wear the coordinating color of the week can earn punches on their Rock Solid Healthy Lifestyle Card. A minimum of 8 out of 12 punches are needed to enter into the grand prize drawing at the end of the semester. It is a fun and easy way to participate on campus and win great prizes! The dates are below and they are included in the attached pdf. Come to the Den between 10am and 2pm to get your punch card punched! (cards will be available for students who have not received them yet) \nSeptember 7th: this week focuses on suicide prevention and awareness and the color is yellow \nSeptember 14th: this week focuses on promoting sexual health and safety and the color is green \nSeptember 21st: this week focuses on drug and alcohol awareness and safety and the color is red \nSeptember 28th: this week focuses on promoting health and fitness and the color is orange \nOctober 5th: this week focuses on mental health awareness and the color is blue \nOctober 12th: MIDTERM WEEK; NO COLOR OUT FRIDAY \nOctober 19th: FALL BREAK; NO COLOR OUT FRIDAY \nOctober 26th: this week focuses on the prevention and awareness of domestic violence and the color is purple \nNovember 2nd: this week focuses on random acts of kindness and the color is yellow \nNovember 9th: this week focuses on the promotion and increased awareness of the different resources available on and near campus and the color is orange \nNovember 16th: this week focuses on the health risks related to tobacco and the color is white \nNovember 23: BREAK; NO COLOR OUT FRIDAY \nNovember 30th: this week focuses on promoting healthy skin and the color is black \nDecember 7th: this is the week before finals and will focus on promoting stress management and relief tactics and the color is green. It is also the last day of Color Out Friday for the semester!
