On September 17, 1787, the Constitution of the United States was signed in the Assembly Room of the Pennsylvania state legislature—the same site that witnessed the signing of the American Declaration of Independence. This year is the 238^th anniversary of that historic occasion.

Rockford University will celebrate Constitution Day with a campus ‘invasion’ from local League of Women Voters members on campus to visit classes, conduct voter registration, provide election information, and host a student focus group about engaging with voting so we are ready for the upcoming November elections and those beyond.
