- Program Leadership: Direct all phases of the competitive program, including strategic game planning, practice design, scheduling, and overall team culture.
- Recruitment: Identify, evaluate, and successfully recruit qualified student-athletes who meet the academic and athletic standards of Rockford University.
- Student-Athlete Development: Monitor and support the academic progress and graduation rates of team members. Foster a holistic environment focusing on leadership, character development, and physical well-being.
- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all NCAA Division III, Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC), and university rules, regulations, and policies.
- Community & Alumni Engagement: Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador for Rockford University flag football. Actively engage with local high schools, youth leagues, alumni, and the greater Rockford community to promote the program.
- Administrative Management: Manage the program budget, organize team travel logistics, and oversee the procurement of apparel and equipment. Supervise assistant coaches and support staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior competitive coaching experience at the collegiate or high school varsity level required. Specialized experience in flag football or high-level tackle football coaching is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully recruit and retain student-athletes.
- Strong knowledge of flag football rules, offensive/defensive strategies, and skill development.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to the mission and values of NCAA Division III and a diverse student body.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
- 3-5 years college coaching experience preferred.

Rockford University is seeking an Admission Assistant/Student Advocate to provide general administrative support and student services for the Offices of Admission and Student Administrative Services. Reporting to the Senior Director of Admission Operations and Assistant Director of SAS/Student Loan Coordinator, this position will split time between these two offices at the direction of their supervisors. - Participate in campus events that have a direct link to Enrollment Management (e.g. Advising and Registration events).
- Help to prepare confidential correspondence and reports.
- Processes and maintains student records, distribution of cash for check cashing and petty cash distribution as well as working with students to set up acceptable payment arrangements.
- Knowledgeable of procedures for contacting students and collection of student accounts with outstanding balances.
- Assist students, parents, faculty and staff with questions by providing answers with regard to all services provided by SAS.
- Accurately direct students, parents, faculty or staff to appropriate persons for all other campus services.
- Process all forms needed for registration such as registration cards, add/drop, degree declaration(s), financial aid, and graduation.
- Disburse (in accordance to rules/regulations) financial aid advances and cash returns to students with account credits as well as cash student payroll checks
- Enter data/maintaining student accounts/records to ensure all balances are accurate and students receive current information.
- Ensure petty cash requests are processed within the approved procedures and disburse when verified/approved.
- Assist in preparing various communications from SAS including financial aid packages, grades, registration, account statements and other mailings as needed.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate filing of all forms received from students, faculty or staff.
- Apply loan checks and electronic fund transfers to student accounts.
- Assists the Senior Director of Admission Operations and Assistant Director/Student Loan Coordinator as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, calendars, supplies, equipment, records, and administrative procedures.

The Professional Assisted Student Support (PASS) Coach works closely with the Dean of Student Support Programming (SSP) to provide individualized coaching and wrap-around support to SSP participants. The Coach helps students develop the skills, strategies, and resources needed to persist, succeed, and complete their college goals.
This position provides individual and small-group coaching focused on college success, executive functioning, academic engagement, and the core SSP program pillars. The Coach also provides case management, referrals, progress monitoring, and ongoing student support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build supportive, trusting relationships with a diverse student population through individualized and small-group coaching.
- Guide students in setting goals, developing action plans, and making progress toward college completion.
- Provide coaching and support related to executive functioning, time management, organization, study skills, academic engagement, and other college success strategies.
- Review course requirements and syllabi with students and assist with planning for successful course completion.
- Connect students with appropriate campus resources, advisors, faculty, and support services.
- Maintain an assigned caseload and monitor student progress toward SSP goals.
