Position Summary
Rockford University is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant for the Events & Scheduling Department to begin for the Fall Semester, 2026.. This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of campus and external events while assisting with scheduling operations, client relations, and event management systems. This position serves as a key liaison between event clients and campus partners to ensure successful events and exceptional customer service.
The position requires a minimum of 25 hours per week (up to 40 hours as needed) over a 12-month period and includes evening and weekend responsibilities.

The Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics (MCSP) Department at Rockford University invites applications for part-time instructor positions beginning in Fall 2026.
We are seeking qualified instructors to teach a variety of undergraduate mathematics service courses, including College Algebra, Math for Elementary School Teachers, and General Education Mathematics. Opportunities are also available to teach introductory Computer Science courses. In addition, we are seeking instructors for undergraduate and graduate-level Data Science courses.
Prior college-level teaching experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and enthusiasm for working with students in a small liberal arts university environment.
Qualifications
Mathematics, Data Science, and introductory Computer Science courses are taught in person on our Rockford campus, while graduate-level MSDS courses are delivered asynchronously online.
