Assistant Professor of Psychology, Tenure-track

Rockford University seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor of Psychology, tenure-track, effective Fall 2024. Primary teaching responsibilities will include, but not limited to, courses in psychological disorders, brain and behavior, health psychology, research methods, and other related fields. All members of the department are also expected to be able to teach the introductory psychology course. Ideal candidates will also be interested in experiential learning, collaborating with undergraduate students on research, and interdisciplinary work across the whole curriculum. 

Preference will be given to candidates with appropriate terminal degree (e.g. Ph.D., DBA.). College-level teaching experience is highly desirable. The successful applicant must have an educational philosophy compatible with that of a private, independent institution with a liberal arts environment.
