Whether you are from a four-year institution, a community college,
or an international institution, transferring to Rockford College
is the first step in choosing to make a difference in this world.
Applying as a transfer
student is actually quite simple. All you need is a minimum of 12
credits at the 100 level to be considered a transfer student. Admission
decisions are based upon official transcripts from all colleges
attended. If you have less than 12 credit hours, your application
will be reviewed based on your official high school transcripts,
your ACT/SAT scores, and your class rank.
Rockford College participates
in the Illinois
Articulation Initiative (IAI) as a receiving institution. All
remaining transfer credit is evaluated on a course-by-course basis
and is officially accepted by the Registrar's Office.
Scholarships & Financial Aid
At Rockford College, we believe in
helping others help themselves. That’s why we have
numerous scholarship opportunities
for all students – including transfer students.
