Master
of Business Administration - MBA Program
Students wishing
to acquire advanced knowledge in Business and Organizational
administration do not have to sacrifice quality for flexibility.
Rockford College’s Nationally accredited MBA program
offers quality AND flexibility. Recognizing that many people
are either challenged to afford tuition, aren’t able
to make a long-term school commitment or have work and personal
schedules that make taking classes a challenge, the college
offers alternatives to help all students.
Rockford College MBA courses are taught early mornings,
evenings and on Saturdays. Employees of Public and Non-for-Profit
organizations may be eligible for a $250-per-credit-hour
grant toward courses leading to a Master’s of Business
Administration degree. Others taking MBA courses may also
be eligible for $100 per hour grants. For more information
students should contact the Graduate Office. In addition,
the college offers a graduate certificate program in business
administration for students who want continuing education
or stronger business skills but aren’t interested
at this time in completing an entire MBA program. Of course,
after completing the five graduate certificate courses you
may find the MBA program enticing. Don’t worry, certificate
credits will transfer to the MBA program.
Rockford College’s MBA program is affordable and accessible.
It takes less than ten minutes to register for your first
course and you can take up to four courses before you formally
apply to the program. We try to make it easy for you to
take your first MBA class so you can see for yourself all
we have to offer.

Master of Arts
in Teaching - MAT Program
MAT summer courses
consist of compacted certification and non-certification
classes.
Although there are four and six week classes the majority
are taught in a two week format, including many not offered
during the regular semester.
During the last
two weeks in June off-campus students have the opportunity
to complete their six credit hours of on-campus credit.
Referred to as Camp Rockford, the courses are intense, with
one class each morning and one each afternoon, but it allows
students to get necessary credit hours and still have the
bulk of their summer to pursue other interests.
Both theory and
practical courses are available this summer on the beautiful
campus grounds. And like the courses that are available
all year, MAT classes offer the personal attention that
small classes allow – plus no poison ivy!
