Interlibrary loan (ILL)
...allows you to obtain items that our library doesn't have.
When you make an ILL request we will locate libraries that own the item (book, article, video, etc.) you want and borrow it for you.
You can submit an ILL request online whenever you find something in WorldCat or in one of our journal article indexes that Colman Library doesn't have. Look for the "ILL" icon at the top of the page (FirstSearch) or the link at the bottom of the page (Ebsco) where you see the item description.
If you already have information about something you'd like to borrow, locate the interlibrary loan link on the left navigation bar on any library Web page. It will take 5 - 10 days, on average, to receive your request. You will be notified by email or phone when your item is ready to pick up at the library desk.
