Teaching with Primary Sources Summit: Digging Up the Past

On Feb. 9, 2013, the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Program at Rockford College will host its second annual Summit with partners Boone/Winnebago Regional Office of Education, Barat Education Foundation and the Freedom Project Grant through RPS 205. Please join us for a morning of "Digging Up the Past” using primary sources in Social Studies and English Language arts. With participants over the northern Illinois area, it will be an informative summit with topics focusing on connecting to the common core, engaging students, enhancing literacy and differentiation.
