Rockford University invites applicants to apply for a one-year, leave-of-absence replacement position in organic chemistry. A Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry or related field is required along with evidence of excellent teaching. The primary focus of the position is enthusiastic and effective teaching in organic chemistry. Enthusiasm for teaching in a small-college liberal arts setting is essential. An active program in undergraduate research with students will also be encouraged and supported. The position will be offered at the Visiting assistant professor level and will begin August 2014.
