Press Conference

Forrest Cool Lounge, Burpee Center, 3rd floor

Rockford, Ill., – Please join Rockford University President Robert L. Head, Ph.D., for a press conference to announce the results of a comprehensive economic study that demonstrates the university’s overall financial impact in the region. The press conference will be held on Friday, March 7, 10 a.m., Forrest Cool Lounge, located on the 3rd floor of the Burpee Center, 5050 East State Street, Rockford.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the regional economic impacts created by Rockford University on the local business community and the benefits that the university generates in return for the investments made by its key stakeholder groups—students, society, and taxpayers. Two analyses will be presented: regional economic impact analysis and investment analysis.

Rockford University continues to serve as Rockford’s only four-year degree granting residential institution. Throughout its history, the institution has retained a core commitment to an independent, not-for-profit administrative and academic structure. Additional details on the University plans to invest in its future and openly champion the importance of transforming lives through an education grounded in liberal arts learning will also be shared.
