Rockford University Vocal Collective to perform February 19 at City Hall

Rockford, Ill., – Rockford University Vocal Collective will be performing during the 4th annual Black History Month observance, ‘The Path to Transformation’, on Wednesday, February 19. The evening includes various singers and speakers commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and is a joint effort of the NAACP, NCNW, Rockford Park District and City of Rockford.  

The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the lobby of Rockford City Hall. Vocal Collective will be performing twice during the early part of the program. City Hall is located at 425 E. State Street, Rockford. The celebration is free and open to the public.
