Rockford, Ill., — Rockford University’s Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE) announces a new service to the nonprofit community. NICNE Customized Consulting & Professional Services offers high-quality, affordable help to nonprofit organizations when and where that help is needed most. This service recognizes that management demands placed on nonprofit executives are often compounded by limited time and financial resources. The program offers the targeted assistance of expert advisors to help nonprofit executives address internal issues such as: human resources, marketing, strategic planning, fund development, mission development and refinement, executive searches, grant writing, organizational communication, and more.

A team of highly-skilled consultants and professionals with a wide variety of experience and expertise has been assembled to create a customized plan to assist nonprofit organizations. Upon contact by an agency, the nature of the need will be determined to match the agency to the consultant whose knowledge, background, and skills best addresses the specific need. Current members of the consulting and professional team are: Rhonda Arends, Certified Trainer; Raymond W. Empereur, M.P.A.; Jeff Fahrenwald, director of the Rockford University M.B.A program; Andrea Gibbs, Principal, Act2 Strategists; Alan Gibby; Stuart Barnes Jamieson; Randa Noble, Cheryl Peters, James Provenza, J.D., CPA; , and Roger Turnquist, Ph.D. Biographies and areas of expertise for these consultants can be found by visiting http://www.rockford.edu/?NICNEConsulting.

NICNE aims to strengthen nonprofits by providing education, training, technical assistance, and assessments. This new service greatly expands NICNE’s training and service capacity and provides incredible value to nonprofits through the one-on-one assistance of an expert. All nonprofit agencies are encouraged to consider utilizing this new program.
