PHYSICS, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
University is seeking to fill a one-year position in Physics, to begin in
August 2013 and continue through May 2014. This is a full-time, non-tenure
track position at the Assistant Professor level. A PhD or ABD in
experimental physics is required.
position will transition into a tenure-track position in Fall 2014. The
candidate in the one-year position will be encouraged to apply for
the tenure-track position.
responsibility for introductory, required, and some advanced experimental
physics and possibly some mathematics courses, with potential to expand the
current minor in physics and strengthen the physics laboratory program. Prior full-time
college teaching experience is highly preferred. Enthusiasm for teaching in a
small-university liberal arts setting is essential.
