Mid-year degree candidates to be recognized in ceremony on December 8

Rockford, Ill., — 140 mid-year Rockford College degree candidates will be honored on Saturday, December 8 during the College’s December Recognition Ceremony. The event is set for 1 p.m. in Maddox Theatre, located in Clark Arts Center, 5050 East State Street, Rockford. Clark Arts is accessible.

The ceremony will consist of a degree candidate procession, invocation, musical selections and a keynote address. Providing the keynote address this year is Bergmann Professor of Chemistry Fred Hadley, Ph.D. A 28-year member of the faculty, Dr. Hadley is also the Chair for the Division of Science, Mathematics and Nursing. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the theatre lobby. The degree candidates will be recognized individually on stage as well. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the lobby of the Clark Arts Center.

Honorees include undergraduate students and graduate students from the master of business administration and master of arts in teaching programs.
