Legally Speaking workshop aims to help nonprofit organizations navigate regulatory environment

Rockford, Ill., – The Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE) at Rockford College presents Legally Speaking, "Information every nonprofit needs to know.” The one day workshop addresses topics of Employment Law for Nonprofits, Merger and Dissolutions Issues for Nonprofits, Key Tax Issues for Nonprofits, and Charitable and Planned Giving Issues.
Led by leading practitioners from Hinshaw & Culbertson and Sikich, the workshop will update you on laws, lessons learned, compliance issues, and challenges facing the nonprofit sector. This session will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Regents Hall in the Rockford College Burpee Center, 5050 East State Street, Rockford.
