21st Annual Tri-State Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference takes place November 12 at RC

Rockford, Ill., — The 21st Annual Tri-State Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Rockford College. The conference includes student research poster sessions as well as sessions related to careers for psychology majors, applying to graduate school, and a graduate school information fair. This year’s keynote speaker is Patricia A. Graczyk, Ph.D., who is Assistant Professor at the Institute for Juvenile Research, University of Illinois-Chicago.

Students and faculty will be in attendance from University of Wisconsin‐Platteville, Platteville, Wis., Augustana College, Rock Island, Ill., Loras College, Dubuque, Ia., and Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Ia.

Representatives of graduate programs will also be available to talk with interested students and will have information about specific programs available at their institutions. The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Illinois Institute of Technology, Iowa State University, and the University of Northern Iowa will all be represented.
