Rockford, Ill., – The Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE) has been serving area nonprofit organizations since 2004. It offers a variety of programming and resources to support to build a strong, vibrant nonprofit sector critical to the overall health of the communities they serve. Serving five counties (Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, and Rock in Wisconsin) NICNE provides nonprofit capacity building training for nonprofit management, executive staff and board members in leadership, governance, business planning, and proposal writing.
New this fall is a leadership certificate program designed specifically for faith-based organizations.
