Not too late to apply at Rockford College for Fall 2011 Courses

Rockford, Ill. – The Fall 2011 semester at Rockford College begins on Wednesday, August 24 and it’s not too late to apply, say counselors in the college’s admission department. Prospective students are encouraged to gather up all transcripts and fill out an application for admission soon. Scholarship and financial aid packages can still be obtained.

Rockford College is a four-year independent co-educational institution offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in traditional liberal arts and professional fields. The college has more than 70 majors, minors, and concentrations to choose from. The College has also been chosen as one of the "Best in the Midwest” by The Princeton Review for seven consecutive years, and cited by the Review as a "College with a Conscience” for its focus on student civic engagement. Additionally, Rockford College also has been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll since 2008.

To get started, apply online at www.rockford.edu and submit all transcripts of high school or previous college work. Interested individuals may also contact the Admission Office directly at 815-226-4050 or learn more at "Regent Wednesdays,” which allow prospective students the chance to visit with faculty and staff and learn more about available degrees and programs. The next "Regent Wednesdays” take place on July 13 and 20 from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and include lunch.
