Alan Hutchcroft Alternative Spring Break Twenty-one RC students and twelve alumni who attended the Alan Hutchcroft Alternative Spring Break (AHASB) last week in Starkville, MS are back to school and work this week, but their efforts over the break will not be forgotten, either by participants or by the families they helped there. On Monday, March 7 the group was provided a slab of concrete and a stack of lumber, with the challenge to have a house framed and shingled by Friday, March 11. We are happy to report that they accomplished their goal, moving a family of five, currently sharing a two bedroom apartment, a few steps closer to having their own home. We are so proud of our alumni and students who gave up their spring break to help change their world!

Rockford College Career Fair a Success On February 25, Rockford College Career Services hosted a Career and Internship Fair, attended by 40 local employers and approximately 175 students, alumni, and community members. In addition to learning about open positions within these companies, attendees were able to submit resumes to be included in a resume portfolio available to employers who post open positions with Rockford College Career Services. To date, 15 interviews have occurred as a result of the event.
