Rockford College to host Leslee Nelson Art Exhibit and Reception

Rockford, Ill. – Rockford College will host the "Leslee Nelson” Exhibition from March 25 - April 22, 2011 in the Rockford College Art Gallery. An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Friday, March 25 from 5 - 8:00 p.m. in the College’s Clark Arts Center.
Since 2006, Leslee Nelson has been embroidering stories from key events in her life. She embroiders the images on vintage textiles which go along with descriptions of events that inspire her.
