“Roles of African Americans in Globalization: Past and Present”

Rockford, Ill. –Dr. Cleamon Moorer, assistant professor of management at Brennan School of Business at Dominican University, will present his talk, "Roles of African Americans in Globalization: Past and Present”  February 23, 2011 at 4 p.m. in Regents Hall. 2nd Floor, Burpee Center. The talk is free and open to the public. 

Professor Moorer has authored articles for The Journal of Marketing for Higher Education, the American Journal of Business Education, and the Journal of Business Case Studies. He is the author of "From Failure to Promise: An Uncommon Path to Professoriate,” a professional and spiritual autobiography. He is also a member of the Genocide Intervention Network, an organization committed to stopping the worst atrocities around the world including Darfur.   

Professor Moorer has several years of corporate experience as a systems analyst and designer, database administrator, and a technical trainer at AT&T. After several years in the corporate sector, he founded Moorer Customer Care Solutions Consulting (MCCSC); a regional management consulting firm dedicated to serving the organizational design and consulting needs of small and intermediate sized businesses.
