Rockford College to host “Decreation” Art Exhibit and Reception

Rockford, Ill. – Rockford College will host the "Decreation” exhibit in the Rockford College Art Gallery from February 18 – March 18, 2011. An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Friday, February 18 from 5 - 8:00 p.m. in the College’s Clark Arts Center. Michael Velliquette and Trent Miller will present side-by-side solo exhibitions of recent works. Both Miller's painting's and Velliquette's paper sculptures explore ideas and processes related to creation and destruction, and are fueled by a shared interest in spiritually-driven object making.
