Internet Radio Station Launched at Rockford College

Rockford, Ill. – Rockford College Internet Radio, WRCR, has been launched by faculty member Associate Professor of Philosophy, Matt Flamm, Ph.D., and student Vince Chiarelli. The radio station has a unique combination of musical genres, including original music from Rockford, talk sessions, and various other types of programming.

The "faculty focus” program will interview and profile faculty on campus. "Rockford Locals" music program will showcase local musicians with interviews and in-studio performances.

Thursday night RC open mic's are live-streamed, MWF one-hour jazz programs are hosted by Jimmy Dunn, round-the-clock music programming from female rock playlists, period-lists, and other genres are all included.
