Music Academy announces start of Prelude classes

Rockford, Ill. – The Music Academy of Rockford College announces the start of its next series of early childhood music education classes entitled Prelude. These classes are for students from 6 months of age to 6 years, and their caregivers. The program introduces its students to music in creative, fun and developmentally appropriate ways, and strives to connect families by making music rather than consuming it.
Two ten-week sessions are being offered. Tuesday morning sessions will be located in the Rockford College Clark Arts Center, 5050 East State Street, starting on February 1st and run every Tuesday for ten weeks. Saturday morning sessions will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 920 Third Avenue in Rockford, starting February 12th and run every Saturday for 10 weeks. The cost is $85 for each 10-week session.
