Support and assist the Scheduling Coordinator fulfill the duties of the department. Assist in the scheduling of events and activities by coordinating rental requests through the internal channels of the college. Promote the use and rental of space to outside individuals and organizations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintaining daily operations of the Activity Schedule for the Campus
Take reservation requests and input information into a specialized computer software program
Coordinate and communicate work-orders with other departments (Facilities, Security, Information Technology)
Prepare room diagrams of the set-ups for each event
Maintaining the physical calendar schedule by updating event requests regularly (viewed by Facilities & Security)
Administrative duties of maintaining files, answering and responding to phone calls and e-mails
Attend job related meetings when necessary
EDUCATION and REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience not necessary, but preferred
People skills
Organized and prompt
Computer proficiency
Strong attention to detail
