Rockford College hires for fall, trio of professors publish

New faculty members at Rockford College, 5050 E. State St., this fall are Jan Figa, director of the Colman Library; James Marshall, biology; Nola Addante, nursing; Gary Green, economics/business/accounting; and Marcia Blascoe, director of the early-childhood education program. Barrett Bell joined the college as vice president of enrollment management.

"We Are a College at War: Women Working for Victory in World War II” by professors Catherine Forslund (history), Mary Weaks-Baxter (English) and Christine Bruun (emerita, psychology) was released Aug. 15 by Southern Illinois University Press. The book is available in bookstores and at Amazon.com.
