Rockford College still among Midwest's best

For the seventh consecutive year, Rockford College, 5050 E. State St., was named one of the best colleges in the Midwest by the Princeton Review, a New York-based firm that specializes in resources on colleges for prospective students.
Only one of four of the nation’s 2,500 four-year colleges are represented in the regional "best colleges” category. Rockford College (rockford.edu) is one of just 19 colleges in Illinois included.
The college is celebrating three milestone anniversaries during the 2010-11 academic year: the 150th birthday of social reformer and alumna Jane Addams; the 50th year at the East State Street campus; and the 25th anniversary of the Music Academy of Rockford College.
